First crafted in the 1920s by the Bianchini Family in the Apulia region of Italy, Burratina is a unique variation of Mozzarella. What sets it apart is its filling—soft, white curds known as stracciatella, mixed with rich cream inside a tender Mozzarella shell.
Our Burratina comes from Casearia Faiello, a dairy farm renowned for producing some of the finest and most authentic products of Southern Italy.
This particular Burratina is carefully smoked, imparting a delicate yet distinctive woody smoky aroma that perfectly complements its soft, creamy texture.
The smoking process enriches the cheese with a layer of rich, savoury flavour, adding depth and complexity and elevating it to a sophisticated variation of the classic.
It shines as an appetizer, especially when paired with smoky grilled eggplant slices, creating a harmonious blend of smoky flavours.
