Astros, with a history tracing to the 13th century, saw its first cellar in 1637. After the French Revolution, it was acquired by Maximin Martin, a wealthy soap maker. In 1860, his grandson Marc Maximin Martin built a Tuscan-inspired Château. Today, the eighth-generation family head, Bruno Maurel, a priest at the Jean-Joseph Allemand youth institute, leads the transition to organic farming since 2021
Characterized by its pale salmon colour, this dry wine is tangy and floral with hints of strawberries. Paying tribute to the Moon under which are harvested the grapes of the blend, it reflects all the flavours of Provence.
