A beautiful and rare bottle to enjoy during this festive season.
Since it was acquired by the Dassault family in 1955, Château de la Couperie, renamed Château Dassault, has not ceased to make progress. All this Grand Cru Classé vineyards have been enhanced while respecting the century old terroir.
The nose of this Saint-Emilion is fruity, seductive and elegant, showing a very ripe fruit (plum, berry fruits). The palate is elegant, fresh, delicate and offers power and a beautiful juicy fruitness. Plenty of vanilla and oak, a lovely fresh acidity with elegant resolved fine tannins. The lenght is nice and offers an attractive candy final.
This wine pairs exquisitely with a range of dishes, including Foie Gras, Duck, Beef, Rillette, as well as cheeses like Brie and Saint-Nectaire.
