Dry Sausage ‘Le Barou’ is produced by Léon Chaillot house, traditional master saucisson maker from Ardèche in the Massif Central region since 1947. In this mountainous range, expert craftsmen have been perfecting the art of raising the finest pigs in France for centuries. Leon Chaillot house is concerned with guaranteeing the authenticity of a centuries-old heritage.
This Mountain dry sausage is made from pork bearing the “Mountain Product” designation recognized. Pigs are born in France and raised in the mountains in accordance with good agricultural ractices: cereal-fed for at least 75% of their diet, growth promoters and antibiotics free. Dry Sausage ‘Le Barou’ has a milder taste, not too salty, and a tender and complex meaty flavour typical of fresh, free-range pork meat.
Ideal to taste during your aperitifs, it’s the perfect partner for a lovely glass of wine!
