Cheese Type: Uncooked, Pressed soft cheese
Our farmhouse Coeur de Neufchâtel is produced by Marie Leveque that took over her parent’s farm in 2004 in Pays de Bray (Normandy).
Easily recognisable by its characteristic heart shape dating back to the Hundred Years’ War, when Norman ladies sent cheeses in the shape of a heart to English soldiers as a symbol of their love.
This bloomy rind cheese has a creamy paste with grassy, light acidity, and a yoghurt like taste.
Red wines (Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil rouge, Morgon, Moulin-à-Vent, Saumur-Champigny)
White wines (Touraine-Azay-Le-Rideau)
