Treccia di Buffala is made using whole buffalo milk, and its distinctive shape is achieved through pasta braiding. The curd undergoes the mozzarella-making process, including heating and stretching, before being expertly braided by skilled cheesemakers.

Treccia di Bufala exhibits an elastic texture and a white hue, renowned for its gentle and sweet flavour. While retaining its original properties, it boasts a stringier consistency compared to traditional buffalo mozzarella.

Add some sliced tomatoes, some fresh basil leaves and a dash of olive oil for an explosion of flavour in your mouth.

Store it in the fridge for up to its best-by date. If you open the package but won’t use it all at once, transfer the liquid to an airtight container for a day or two.
