Sea Bream, also known as Orata in Italy, was regarded as a sacred fish in ancient Roman times, believed to bring good luck and prosperity. These Sea Breams are caught following the traditional fishing methods of the village of Cetara, preserving centuries of heritage.

The fillets undergo a traditional preparation where they are gently steamed and infused with the richness of an olive oil marinade, enhancing their delicate flavor.

This precious product is ideal for appetizers or as a vibrant addition to fresh dishes and salads. Store the product at room temperature. After opening, keep the fillets in the coldest part of the refrigerator to preserve freshness for several days.

Simple Cooking Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 180°.
  • Lightly oil a baking dish and arrange the Sea Bream fillets.
  • Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, a squeeze of fresh lemon, and sprinkle salt and fresh herbs like parsley or oregano.
  • Steam gently or bake for about 10-12 minutes, until the fillets are opaque and tender.
  • Serve warm or chilled, paired with fresh salad or rustic bread.
