Château Lafon-Rochet boasts a long-standing heritage in Saint-Estèphe, tracing its roots back to the 16th century, making it one of the area’s most ancient estates. The estate’s terrain is diverse, comprising gravel and blue clay deposits, creating a uniquely distinct terroir. In 1960, Guy Tesseron acquired the property, leading to extensive vineyard improvements and the construction of a new château. His son and grandson, Michel and Basile, continued the legacy by further enhancing the estate and its infrastructure.
