Good to drink now, this Bordeaux can keep and will develop nicely over time, reaching its peak from 2025.
Founded in 1720, Château Chasse-Spleen is one of the most famous references in the Medoc region, thanks to the quality of its wine and the poetic of its name.
Purplish red in colour, on the nose the wine reveals aromas of roses, cherries, black currants and ripe blackberries, in addition to delicate notes of chocolate, tobacco and nuts. The mouth is dry, fresh and full, with dense and smooth tannins and leaves a long final sensation.
Rated 93 by James Suckling.
