The Quicke family has been farming in Newton St Cyres for 450 years, the dairy sits on 1500 acres of stunning Devon countryside, where 330 cows provide the rich milk for their cheeses. Devonshire Red Cloth Bound Cheese is handcrafted using heritage starters by the expert cheesemakers, clothbound and naturally matured, typically for 6 months.

Devonshire Red features a solid structure with a fine, crumbly consistency, offering a subtle sweetness in its flavour profile. It carries pronounced notes of butterscotch and nutty flavours. The cheese gets its colour from annatto, and it is crafted using vegetarian rennet.

Enjoy it alongside a refreshing white wine, tangy ciders, or mellow brown ales. It’s particularly delightful for snacking, melting over root vegetables, or as a burger topping.
