For almost 20 years, Latour family has been perpetuating the traditional recipe of the waffle. While the age-old debate has never quite determined the true origin of the Waffle as we know it today (whether from Belgium, France or the Netherlands), Latour Biscuiterie are French. Although they are so close to the Belgian border, one might argue that their recipe encompasses the entire northern area, thus legitimately representing France and Belgium.
Latour’s waffles are absolutely delicious, made with pure butter, and perfect for snacking at any time of day. The box has 4 paquets, each containing 2 waffles.
Waffles are known to be paired with many different beverages whether cocktails, beers and alcohols and sweet drinks. At Cheese Club, we recommend pairing your waffles with hot chocolate. Furthermore, be sure to sprinkle your waffles with powdered sugar.
