Located in the heart of Val de Ville in the Alsace region, Jos Nusbaumer produces a whole range of prestigious brandies and liquors of the region.
The Prune de Fermes is part of the Exception range, the apex of Nusbaumer’s artisanal know-how. Made from big “prune-quetsche”, this liquor is very sweet and juicy. After four weeks of natural fermentation, all seeds are removed and fruits are distilled in small copper stills. This mixture is then aged in steel casks for 20 years in order to maintain its intense flavours. After the ageing process, the alcohol content is reduced to 45% using mountain spring water, characterized by its purity.
