The fig is one of the oldest fruits along with olives to be cultivated by men. It has been recognized and incorporated into the diet for centuries, particularly in Turkey, where most of the world’s production of dried figs is found thanks to the country’s climate, which is perfectly adapted to the cultivation of this fruit.

Dried figs are ideal for snacking, and for either baking or cooking applications.

Our tip: add pieces of dried figs to a Greek yogurt with a drizzle of honey for a delicious and healthy breakfast or snack.

Store in the fridge after opening and consume within the recommended shelf life.
