Fromagerie Sainte Godeleine’s Boite Chaude is one unique and fun cheese imagined by Les Frères Bernard. More than a cheese, La Boite Chaude is an experience. Why? Because it comes in a round wooden box that plays a key role in the cheese’s preparation and baking. Because it can equally be enjoyed baked in an oven or grilled on a barbecue. And, because it’s cow’s milk pairs beautifully with a side salad gently streamed with honey. The rest is up to you, but regardless whether you are surronded by friends or family, La Boite Chaude will definitely impress.
Cooking instructions:
1. Unwrap the cheese and cut a cross in the rind. Add pepper and thyme.
2. Place on baking paper, return to the box (lid off), and bake at 200°C for 15 min.
3. Serve with salad, charcuterie, potatoes, pickles, and bread. Drizzle with honey and pair with Blonde Beer de Forest.
