Alsace AOC, Chasselas, Domaine Albert Boxler, 2020

The history of the Albert Boxler vineyard traces back to 1673. Today, this family-owned Domaine is overseen by Jean Boxler, a grandson of Albert, and his wife Sylvie. Nestled in the picturesque village of Niedermorschwihr near Colmar, the vineyard is uniquely situated on steep terraced slopes, demanding meticulous manual vineyard care. Covering approximately 14 hectares, it yields an average production of around 65,000 bottles annually, varying depending on the vintage.

This Chasselas shows a stunning bouquet of floral on the nose, with notes of frash grapefruit, golden kiwi, lemon, and rock dust. A crisp acidity on the palate with citrus and white flowers hints. Creamy and relatively long finish.

Perfect paired with Raclette cheese.
