Dry Sausage ‘Le Barou’ is produced by Léon Chaillot house, traditional master saucisson maker from Ardèche in the Massif Central region since 1947. In this mountainous range, expert craftsmen have been perfecting the art of raising the finest pigs in France for centuries. Leon Chaillot house is concerned with guaranteeing the authenticity of a centuries-old heritage.
This Mountain dry sausage is made from pork bearing the “Mountain Product” designation recognized. Dry Sausage ‘Le Barou’ has a milder taste, not too salty, and a tender and complex meaty flavour. It is flavoured with hypocras a sweet drink based on wine, honey and spices.
Ideal to taste during your aperitifs, it’s the perfect partner for a lovely glass of wine!
