Philippe Foreau, the third generation in the Foreau family, continues the legacy of producing Vouvray from the esteemed domaine acquired by his grandfather in 1923. Taking over the domaine’s leadership in 1983 after his father André’s retirement, Philippe now oversees the 11.5 hectares of Chenin Blanc vineyards. Situated in the northeast corner of Vouvray, the Domaine du Clos Naudin vineyards enjoy a mid-hill position with a south exposure.
Very renowed in France, it offers a spicy aromatic palette with notes of saffron for the smell. Vouvray Moelleux is a soft, supple wine, full of flavour without excessive sweetness on the palate.
