Indulge yourself with the famous and very special Maréchal des Contades Pâté!

This artisanal recipe from Alsace (Strasbourg) was created in 1780 by Jean-Pierre Clause and has been handed down from generation to generation.

The ancient recipe comprises whole Goose Foie Gras and pieces of Perigord black truffle seasoned with a secret blend of spices which are then gently baked in a home-made pastry crust to bring out all the flavours.

The result is an outstanding gastronomic masterpiece for the most demanding connoisseurs of fine food.

Only 5 pieces of the Pâté du Maréchal des Contades can be made per day, so don’t think twice to order it!

How to eat?

Put it on farmhouse bread, or on bread containing fruit and/or nuts. Do not spread it: place it gently on the bread.
