The Redde family’s lineage dates back to 1630, with François Redde as the first known winemaker in Pouilly-sur-Loire. Michel Redde, born in 1930, chose to carry on the winemaking tradition. Alongside his wife Simone, they diligently expanded the family vineyard in the early 1950s. The estate was then passed down to their son Thierry and subsequently to their grandsons, Sebastien and Romain. The Redde family continues the estate’s traditional style, driven by their passion for expressing the best of grape varieties, terroir, and vintage in their wines.
In the Pouilly-Fumé La Moynerie, you’ll discover vibrant scents of green apple, lime, and damp stone, accompanied by subtle notes of gooseberry and an almost smoky flint-like quality. These delightful aromas persist on the palate, where the region’s characteristic acidity is harmoniously counterbalanced by the invigorating presence of apple and lime.
Perfect to complement goat cheeses, white meat, fish and seafood.
