Nestled in the heart of the Champagne vineyards, the village of Les Riceys offers an exceptional terroir recognized by the finesse of its wines. The Defrance family has been farming prestigious parcels of Champagne for more than a century. At the head of the operation since 1979, Joel Defrance succeeds Louis, Roger and Gilbert, he developed the production but also modernized the estate. He was joined in 2005 by his two sons, Aurélien and Alexis forming the 5th generation.
On the nose, it displays a delicate, floral, and mineral character. When tasted, it reveals freshness, lightness, and a hint of spiciness, with notes reminiscent of crisp green apples and white flowers.
