The tale commences in 1917 when Auguste Faye, operated as a wine merchant in Mâcon. Initially visiting to purchase the harvest, he was captivated by Javernand and ultimately acquired the estate. Since then, generations have followed in succession, up to the fifth generation. They persist in carrying on the legacy of their forebears across all facets of the winegrower’s profession. Striving to strike a harmonious balance between tradition and modernity, they are in a perpetual state of reflection and self-examination to ensure they are on the right course.
Typical of the Chiroubles appellation, supple and gourmet, light ruby colour. Beautiful fruit freshness and floral notes revealing the granitic terroir of Javernand. Light and easy drinking, the Gamay grape is packed with red fruits flavours.
