Camembert di Bufala is a variation from the original French Camembert. Made with high quality Buffalo milk from Lombardy, it gives to this Italian version a distinctive and stronger flavour with an unmistakable aroma.
Surrounded by a smooth and flowery rind, the combination of a strong, creamy Buffalo paste and a thin, subtle layer of Italian summer truffles provides a perfect balance. It is often used as a dessert cheese or as an appetizer with bread and fruit. It pairs well with piece-bodied red wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah.
Should be stored in the refrigerator wrapped in parchment paper.
