The journey of Visconti commenced in 1988 when Flavio and Carla initiated their winemaking venture with a mere hectare of Sangiovese on the southeastern flank of Montalcino. Presently, their progeny, Luca and Tea, perpetuate this legacy that has traversed generations, deeply rooted in reverence and affection for the land. La Palazzetta Visconti possesses now 20 hectares of meticulously tended vineyards cultivated through organic practices.
This wine showcases a luminous ruby red shade adorned with alluring violet highlights. The bouquet exudes a remarkable intensity, offering a delightful fusion of lively fruitiness and the distinct essence of the varietal, highlighted by hints of violet, cherry, and plum. Velvety and matured tannins gracepiecey guide the palate, culminating in an enduring finish that lingers pleasingly.
