Château Le Boscq’s story stretches back over three centuries. Since its acquisition by Domaine Dourthe in 1995, the estate’s legacy continues to grow. This historic château, known as a “gabarre” château, harks back to a time when barrels of wine were transported downriver to Bordeaux aboard grand barge-style boats.
This wine stands out for its deep purple colour and alluring aromatic complexity, weaving together notes of cedar, ripe fruit, and gentle spices. It opens with a soft suppleness, then develops rich texture, depth, and robust tannins. Wonderfully balanced, it finishes long and lingering, with flavours of dark fruit, spice, and cedar that reveal its exceptional terroir.
Château Le Boscq is a perfect pairing with red meats and aged French cheeses.
