The practice of harvesting Anchovies off Sicily has a historical lineage reaching back to the maritime traditions of the Mediterranean. In 1995, the Curreri family founded the Original Curerri, driven by the goal of honoring these time-honored practices through ecologically conscious methods and the utilization of premium products.
These Anchovies are kept in olive oil. Small, they are ready to be enjoyed on the go or as a starter.
Our little trick is to take the anchovies in their packaging, drain them slightly and then mix them. You will then get a tapenade for sun-drenched aperitif toasts.
Store in a cool and dry area. Anchovies can be placed in the fridge after opening.
