The Abbaye de Citeaux cheese is produced by the monks of the Citeaux Abbey, situated in the region of Burgundy in France. This monastery has a history dating back to the 11th century, and its cheesemaking tradition is just as rich. Monks still use time-tested methods to create this unique and delicious cheese

This cheese has a semi-soft texture and a creamy, slightly tangy flavour.
It can be enjoyed on its own with a toast of bread, but it is also perfect for “Citeaux-flette”: a revisited tartiflette. With potatoes, bacon bits, onions and melted Citeaux cheese on top.

Store it in the refrigerator, wrapped in parchment paper, and consume within a few weeks of purchasing for optimal freshness and flavour.
