Their semi-hard Vacherin Fribourgeois showcases a supple and slightly granular texture with acidic, buttery, and nutty flavours. On the nose, it reveals a grassy and pleasant aroma with a strong aromatic bouquet thanks to its slightly washed rind.
Vacherin Fribourgeois is delicious served at room temperature on its own or with crusty bread. It truly shines when melted in a classic Swiss fondue, either pure or combined with Gruyère for a “Fondue Moitié-Moitié.” Pair with boiled potatoes, pickles, and a crisp white wine to enhance its buttery, nutty flavors and fully experience this iconic alpine cheese.
