The soil is predominantly sandy gravel over clay and limestone, with vineyards occupying a contiguous plot protected by the village of Cissac and the surrounding forests.
This wine displays a medium ruby red color, with a nose of lilac, acacia, and blackberry. On the palate, it offers a pleasing balance between primary aromas of red and black fruits and subtle secondary notes of light wood and vanilla. It features typical, rich tannins and a savory finish.
