Ham, Spianata (Sliced)

Spianata is a typical salame ham from the Italian region of Calabria.

Made from lean pork and cubes of lard, it has a traditional flattened shape. The meat preration is enriched with black peppercorns and spicy chili.

Delicious as an appetizer with other cold cuts and cheeses but also in sandwitches for a special lunch!
