Saint-Estèphe, Les Pélerins, Château Lafon-Rochet 2019

Weight: 750

CellarTracker: 90/100

Crafted in Saint-Estèphe, one of the most celebrated corners of Bordeaux, Les Pèlerins de Lafon-Rochet comes directly from a historic 4th Grand Cru Classé estate. As the Château’s second wine, it benefits from the very same sun-drenched gravel soils and expert craftsmanship as its prestigious big brother, offering an authentic taste of fine French winemaking at its best.

This red wine is a true pleasure for the senses, rich, smooth, and wonderfully balanced. Each sip opens up layers of dark red fruits, soft chocolate, and subtle licorice, enhanced by delicate notes of roasted coffee, warm spices, and a hint of fresh spearmint on the finish.

To fully appreciate its generous flavor, serve it alongside classic, savory dishes. It pairs beautifully with roasted lamb, a juicy prime rib, or duck breast, and works like a charm with earthy wild mushroom risotto and fine aged cheeses.
