Located in the heart of Val de Ville in the Alsace region, Jos Nusbaumer produces a whole range of prestigious brandies and liquors of the region.
The Kirsch de Merises is part of the Exception range, the apex of Nusbaumer’s artisanal know-how. Made from wild cherries, this liquor has a natural wild but sweet taste. After 5 weeks of natural fermentation, all seeds are removed and fruits are distilled in small copper stills. This mixture is then aged in steel casks for 25 years in order to maintain its refined flavours. After the ageing process, the alcohol content is reduced to 45% using mountain spring water, characterized by its purity.
