Kabernus Blue is a distinguished blue cheese crafted by Quesos El Pastor, a renowned family-owned dairy in Zamora, Spain. This cheese earned a Bronze award at the World Cheese Awards 2021-22, reflecting its exceptional quality. ​

Made from pasteurised cow’s milk, Kabernus Blue exhibits a white paste interspersed with greenish-blue cavities. It emits a slightly lactic aroma with characteristic mouldy notes. The flavour is intense, salty, and piquant, becoming more pronounced with extended maturation. Its smooth texture is punctuated by numerous veins and hollows, evenly distributed throughout the cheese. ​
