The village of Montagny is famous for producing more 1er Cru than villages appelation, a true noble terroir.
Founded in 1931 in Burgundy, France, Cave des Vignerons de Buxy is a cooperative uniting 200 winegrowers across the Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais regions. For nearly a century, they have combined tradition with innovation, crafting terroir-driven wines while embracing sustainability and modern wine tourism through their hub, “La Maison Millebuis”.
Their Montagny AOC shines with a brilliant light gold colour and offers aromas of ripe pear, crisp apple, and zesty citrus, complemented by subtle notes of butter and flinty minerality. On the palate, it is bright, persistent, and elegantly structured.
This wine pairs beautifully with seared scallops, herb-roasted chicken, goat cheese tartines, lemon-dressed greens, charcuterie boards, or any golden-hour gathering.
