The Rothschild family is not only in banks or wine… but also in cheese! Owners of the Domaine des 30 Arpents, located in Seine-et-Marne, in the heart of the Briard country, they produce an exceptional Brie with walnuts and honey: a true gem for cheese lovers!
. Since 1991, the property’s cheese dairy has been making the one and only Brie de Meaux Fermier AOP. Brie de Meaux is named after its region of origin. One of the creamiest cheese you will find, the paste hidden below its bloomy rind is piece of flavours: butter, cream, and mushrooms.

The “Fermier aux Noix et Miel” was born from the joint brainstorming of Benjamin de Rothschild and the cheesmaker. A great lover of honey, Baron Benjamin de Rothschild wanted to combine the farm’s honey with Brie de Meaux Fermier. To add crunch and a twist to the recipe, the cheesemaker had the idea of adding Périgord walnuts. This cheese combines the creaminess of Brie with the sweetness of honey and the strength of walnuts. It offers a wide range of aromas and flavours on the palate.
