The Rothschild family is not only in banks or wine… but also in cheese! Owners of the Domaine des 30 Arpents, located in Seine-et-Marne, in the heart of the Briard country, they produce an exceptional Farm Brie de Meaux since 1991.
Brie de Meaux is named after its region of origin. One of the creamiest cheese you will find, the paste hidden below its bloomy rind is full of flavours: butter, cream, and mushrooms. Entirely handmade and prepared from the raw milk produced by the farm’s 150 cows, this Brie de Meaux Fermier is the only one in the world to be awarded the AOP distinction. Unlike other Bries de Meaux, this artisanal recipe never ceases to surprise and delight, as its taste and texture evolve according to the seasons and the herd’s natural diet.
Pair it with walnuts, fruits and a glass of sparkling wine or cider. Or, try this exquisite recipe of Pan Fried Brie with Peppered Honey and Olives here !
Store in the fridge, wrapped in cheese paper, and consume within a few days.
