The winemakers of this domain are reknown for their natural approach towards the vines, accompanying the expression of the terroir with the least possible intervention on the plots and in the cellar.
The plot of Chevalerie is made of 2 ft of clay on top of limestone at mid-hill level, planted of 70 years-old vines for an intense and concentrate expression of this plentiful vintage of Cabernet Franc.
Notes of blackcurrant are juggling with light spicy notes and an incredible freshness and length on the fruity notes. To be decanted 90 minutes ahead minimum, it’s a great connoisseur wine.
