Astros, with a history tracing back to the 13th century, saw its first cellar established in 1637. In 1860, Marc Maximin Martin, his grandson, built a Tuscan-inspired château. Today, the eighth-generation family head, Bruno Maurel, leads the transition to organic farming, which began in 2021. Temperature control is paramount in producing quality rosé, which is why Minuit Rosé’s grapes are harvested at night to protect them from the daytime heat.
This is gastronomic yet easy-drinking Côte de Provence at its best, made organic for a healthier wine and tasting experience. Minuit Rosé has an aromatic nose of grapefruit, exotic fruits, and strawberry. On the palate, the wine is round and well-balanced.
