Ninon Briane established an artisanal cidery at the heart of Terrasses du Larzac in 2022. Having transitioned from the wine industry, she planted age-old, rustic apple tree varieties from Aveyron and Normandy in this renowned gravelly terrain.
This cider is organic and crafted using a natural approach, encouraging extended alcoholic fermentation of up to 5 or 6 months through native yeasts. L’Extrée has therefore a higher alcohol content than other ciders. This unique process gives L’Extrée its distinctive tangy and mouthwatering profile.
You can taste it as an aperitif or accompany it with seafood, grilled fish, roast veal or roast pork!
