Anchovies are one of the most popular fish in southern Europe. Fine and tender, raw or cooked, there are many occasions to taste this small fish. These anchovies are fished in the traditional way, sorted, run by hand by Karras and preserved in oil to achieve perfect ripening.
These oriental anchovies are marinated in sunflower oil, harissa, hot red peppers, candied lemons, coriander and garlic. Small, they are ready to be enjoyed on the go or as a starter. Our little trick is to take the anchovies in their packaging, drain them slightly and then mix them. You will then get a tapenade for sun-drenched aperitif toasts. Enjoy these delicious Greeks flavours!
The best-before date will be marked on the label. Anchovies can be stored in the fridge between 2 and 4°C.
