Since 1870, the Francisco family has crafted exceptional wines at Château Côtes de Blaignan, located in the prestigious Medoc Peninsula, a renowned red wine region 60 km north of Bordeaux. In 2010, the estate’s management passed to Stéphanie and Claude, the fifth generation, who meticulously tend to the 32-hectare vineyard with hands-on care, including canopy management and precise harvest selection.

Exhibiting a dense, inky core with a hint of purple, this wine boasts a roasted nose featuring new oak, coffee bean, dark plum, cherry, and black currant notes. The palate is piece and polished, with youthful grainy tannins, elegant oak, butterscotch, fresh berry fruit, cassis, and a mild spiciness, all culminating in a lingering finish.

Ideal to pair with creamy cheeses such as Brie or Camembert. This wine also goes very well with beef.
