The Grenaille potato, a cherished term in French cooking, refers not to a single variety but to small, young, new potatoes with a paper thin skin that requires no peeling. These bite sized gems have been a staple of French markets for generations, prized for their tender, waxy texture and rich, buttery, slightly nutty flavour that tastes of the earth itself.

To enjoy them at their finest, we recommend a simple sauté with garlic and fresh herbs, or a classic roast with olive oil, salt, and pepper, allowing their natural character to shine. They are the perfect side to roasted meats and grilled fish.
