A light alpine red, Coteaux du Grésivaudan from Domaine Finot features Pinot Noir grown on cool, limestone slopes in Isère. The 2024 vintage is unoaked and vibrant, offering fresh red cherry, raspberry, and cranberry with a delicate hint of violet petals. Domaine Finot has cultivated Pinot Noir here since 1972, hand-harvesting small yields from steep, sun-drenched terraces.
Each sip brings a light, silky body and a bright, refreshing finish with fine, soft tannins. Unlike fuller Pinots, this is leaner and more ethereal, with subtle notes of forest floor and wild strawberry. The wine ages only in stainless steel, preserving its juicy, alpine purity.
Serve lightly chilled at 14°C with roasted chicken, pork tenderloin, or mushroom tart. Perfect alongside charcuterie, soft cheeses, or grilled salmon. A crisp, everyday red that sings of mountain freshness and heritage winemaking.
